Powered by a 2.5-liter VGS turbo intercooled diesel engine, ISUZU D-Max S-Cab produces 78 hp of power at 3800 rpm and 176 Nm of maximum torque between 1800-2400 rpm. D-Max S-Cab engine comes with graphite coated piston skirts which reduce the friction during cold starts minimizing wear and tear of the engine. ISUZU electronically controlled high-pressure common rail fuel injection system, split design camshaft, and toughened friction bearings minimize backlash during acceleration and deceleration, lesser engine noise & reduced engine wear ensuring the maximum performance, longevity, and fuel economy.
D-Max S-Cab comes with 5-speed overdrive manual transmission, double wishbone, coil spring front suspension, and over slung rear soft ride leaf spring suspension.
Furthermore, it comes with a ventilated front disc along with a large 255 mm brake booster and twin pot caliper ensuring shorter stopping distance and improved vehicle stability while braking. The load-sensing proportioning valve (LSPV) adjusts braking according to various load conditions.
Talking about the collision safety features, it comes with a collapsible steering column which ensures your safety in the unfortunate event of a collision. It also comes with a strong chassis and cabin with crumple zones, door side intrusion beam to shield cabin occupants in the event of a collision.
ISUZU D-Max S-Cab comes with 5 seating capacity designed as a simple tip-up for the rear seats with a 60:40 split, lets you lift up the back row for extra cargo spaces whatever you need it and 24 sq. ft. (2027 m²) of the spacious deck with a loading capacity of 1105 kg.
